Entry Criteria

ENTRY CRITERIA

International Entry  requirements for the Business Qualifications are as follows:

Successful completion of 11 years of  school in English, or,

Successful completion of  a previous programme at a tertiary  level approved by the Principal or programme leader, or,

Successful completion of 11 years of  international schooling, and,

An IELTS score of 5.5

An equivalent  score on a measure approved by the Principal or programme leader (e.g. transfer from another institution, English proficiency  based on previous academics, etc.)

International Entry  requirements for the Counselling Qualification Level 6 are as follows:

Applicants must have an IELTS of 5.5 average or it’s equivalent for NZIS approval or have studied previously  in an approved English - medium institution.

*Please not e that there is no TEC funding for this qualification, and therefore it is only  available to International applicants.

International Entry  requirements for the Graduate Diploma Qualifications Level 7 are as follows:

Applicants must have already  completed a 3 year degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants from industry  who can demonstrate significant work and professional experience to enter advanced courses for the programme will be considered on a case-by -case basis.

Approval for acceptance is at the Programme Leaders discretion. Applicants where English is not their first  language shall provide evidence that they  have achieved a minimum of 6.0 IELTS.

The Graduate Qualifications are delivered in collaboration with NothTec. This qualification is owned by NorthTec.
